AWWA social space design

Client: AWWA

Project Scope: customer experience . branding . interior design

WHY?

Our challenge was to design a multi-purpose, dementia-friendly social space that also welcomes families and individuals living with dementia. The concept should bring together a resource centre, senior day care activity area, and a community gym — encouraging multi-generational interaction in a vibrant, inclusive setting at the heart of a residential neighbourhood.

HOW?

In collaboration with Lien Foundation, we created a research-backed, dementia-friendly space that is accessible, inclusive, and tailored to seniors — while serving the wider community.

Named Kampung (Malay for “village”), the space reflects the spirit of togetherness and intergenerational connection. Its branding is warm and dynamic, while the interior design is cosy and inviting — a welcoming environment for all ages.
