WHY?
Our challenge was to create a truly authentic souvenir store experience, which can be leveraged by Lagardère Travel Retail’s hyper-localizable Discover concept.
HOW?
Through immersion, workshops with our client and airport authorities, we uncovered shoppers’ evolving expectations of their souvenir stores, which encompass sense of place, of moment and of purpose. To be truly authentic, localized but also experiential and meaningful, we made Discover a store driven by the locals, a “community store”. The design through interchangeable graphics and iconic local elements and a clear guideline book is easily adaptable to different geographies.
